Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Margaret began her career as a Secondary School teacher having qualified at Trinity College Dublin with an honours degree in History and Political Science and a Higher Diploma in Education between the years of 1974 and 1979.
In 2007, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and in 2010, she achieved her MSc in Psychotherapy. Following her developing interest in Trauma and its effects in the body, Margaret began the study of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy in 2012. In 2017, she was awarded Certification as an Advanced Level Practitioner in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
Margaret is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and abides by their code of ethics.

Margaret is a highly qualified and experienced practitioner in the field of Psychotherapy and has worked successfully in many areas of the profession from Relationship Counselling to the treatment of Trauma. Margaret works with individual clients.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Having raised three wonderful children, Margaret recognises the challenges that people face in life. She has a very keen interest in personal development and stress management, and how life challenges can help the person to grow and develop inner strength. This interest led Margaret to study Mindfulness as a way to cultivate strength of mind and body and she became a Mindfulness Tutor in 2000. She brings mindfulness into her approach with her clients.
