Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Eimear’s approach is person-centred, integrative, and humanistic.  She places each client at the heart of the therapeutic process, working collaboratively allows her to consider the needs and personality of each in terms of her approach.

Eimear prioritises relational depth and listening as part of her practice. She integrates aspects of humanistic psychology, existential psychotherapy, and person-centred principles in her approach. Central to this approach is the importance of the human-to-human encounter. This allows for a safe container to explore sometimes difficult and painful emotions and feelings.

Eimear aims to provide safety, non-judgment, and acceptance. She believes this encourages and facilitates the exploration of client behaviour patterns leading to self-awareness, healing, growth, and empowerment.
