Ronan is a fully qualified psychotherapist based in Galway, holding a BA (Hons) in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a pre-accredited member of The Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP), he adheres strictly to their code of ethics and practice, ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and client care.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Ronan's therapeutic approach is primarily the Person-Centred Approach (PCA). This client-centred therapy provides a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. By understanding your unique perspective, we can work together to develop coping strategies and achieve your goals. Ronan also draw on techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Psychosynthesis, and Analytical Psychology to create a tailored therapeutic plan that suits your individual needs.

Ronan provides a safe, judgment-free space, with empathy, care, and respect, where you have the time to tell your unique story. Over your time together, Ronan will hold the space and assist you as you navigate your difficulties and help you develop as a person.
Ronan has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, sexuality, PTSD, life transitions, self-esteem/belief, grief and addictive behaviours.
